Navigating past Portland Port, we were treated to a unique perspective of this historic site. The imposing structures and busy activity provided a striking contrast to the serene natural beauty of the surrounding coastline. Sadly on this day we weren't greeted by the harbours resident Dolphin. As we sailed further, the industrial scenery gave way to the rugged cliffs that define the area. The clean, clear waters sparkled in the patchy sunshine, creating a mesmerizing view that captivated everyone on board.

As we Left the confines of Portland Harbour through the main shipping entrance, some seals were there to greet us. The Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, stretched out before us in all its glory. The ancient cliffs, carved by millennia of natural forces, provided a dramatic backdrop to our journey. The catamaran’s spacious deck allowed everyone to spread out and enjoy unobstructed views, making it easy to appreciate the stunning scenery.

As we approached Bowleaze the sun came to join us, I could hear calls of 'can we stop and swim?' With the small boat anchorage off Overcombe corner so close, it seemed rude not to drop the anchor in such a beautiful and tranquil spot, ideal for a refreshing swim. The calm, clear waters, provided a safe and inviting environment for the ladies to enjoy. The excitement was palpable as they drew straws for who be going in first, after the Hen of course.
